The parents, grandparents, friends, and alumni of the Gateway community come together in support of a school that changes and improves the lives of children and their families. Some go so far as to claim Gateway saved their child or family. Their very generous gifts enable Gateway to maintain its low student-to-teacher ratio and provide a remedial academic program that includes the arts and experiential learning, as well as after-school activities and athletics. Generous gifts allow Gateway to remain true to its founding vision: teaching bright students with learning disabilities how to learn in school and in life.
